We built an AUSTRAC enrolment cheat sheet — here is why
AUSTRAC enrolment is open. We built a one-page cheat sheet that pulls your pre-filled details — ABN, compliance officer, service descriptions — formatted exactly as AUSTRAC Connect asks for them.
We built an AUSTRAC enrolment cheat sheet — here is why
AUSTRAC enrolment opened on 31 March 2026. If your agency brokers property sales in Australia, you are required to enrol by 29 July 2026.
The process is not complicated. But before you can type anything into AUSTRAC Connect, you need to have several pieces of information ready: your ABN, your registered business name, your compliance officer's name and contact details, and descriptions of your agency's designated services.
All information you already have. All scattered across your records.
We ran a test enrolment internally and spent ten minutes gathering the pieces before we could start filling in the form. That is not a significant problem. But it is an unnecessary one.
So we built a cheat sheet.
What the cheat sheet does
The AML Simple Enrolment Cheat Sheet pulls the information you already entered when setting up your account and presents it on a single page, formatted exactly as AUSTRAC Connect asks for it.
When you open it, you see:
- Your registered business name and ABN — pulled from your organisation profile
- Your compliance officer's details — name, title, phone, and email, exactly as AUSTRAC Connect requires them
- Your service descriptions — formatted to match AUSTRAC's designated service categories for real estate
No reformatting. No hunting across documents. Just the information you need, in the order you need it.

How to use it
Open the cheat sheet in one browser tab. Open the AUSTRAC Connect enrolment form in another. Work through the form copying from your cheat sheet.
That is it.
For most agencies with a complete profile in AML Simple, the actual form-filling takes under ten minutes. The friction that slows people down is the gathering, not the typing.
Who it is for
The cheat sheet is useful for anyone who has completed their organisation profile in AML Simple — entered your ABN, confirmed your business name, and appointed your compliance officer.
If you have not done those steps yet, the cheat sheet is a useful prompt for what you need to get ready before you sit down to enrol.
Where to find it
Log in to app.amlsimple.com and select Enrolment from the left sidebar. The cheat sheet opens immediately — no setup required. Everything is pulled from the organisation profile you have already filled in.
If any fields show as missing, the cheat sheet links directly to the Settings page where you can add them.
The deadline
29 July 2026 is the AUSTRAC enrolment deadline for real estate agencies. Enrolment does not activate your AML/CTF obligations — those begin on 1 July 2026 regardless. The enrolment deadline is the administrative step that confirms you have completed that setup.
Do not leave it until the last week. Enrol now, before the July rush.
