Reapit Verify vs AML Simple
Reapit Verify is a great start. Here's the rest of what AUSTRAC expects.
If you heard about Reapit Verify at Ascend '26 and thought "compliance is handled." That's understandable. Reapit Verify does real things. It just doesn't do all of them. Here's what the full picture looks like.
The coverage gap
Reapit Verify covers identity. AUSTRAC requires a lot more.
Reapit Verify is a genuine compliance tool, built into the CRM that thousands of Australian agencies already use. It verifies client identity using DVS, runs CDD workflows at the transaction level, flags risk, and helps you generate suspicious matter reports. That's real, useful work.
But identity verification and CDD are two steps in a compliance program that AUSTRAC expects your agency to have documented, trained, and reported on.
Under the AML/CTF Act 2006, every real estate agency that brokers property sales must have a written AML/CTF program - not just a way to verify IDs. That program has to be built before 1 July 2026, communicated to your team, and maintained with ongoing records. AUSTRAC also requires Threshold Transaction Reports (TTRs), annual compliance reporting, and evidence that your staff understand their obligations.
Reapit Verify doesn't cover those parts. It isn't designed to.
AML Simple covers all of them. And because it works independently of your CRM, you can keep using Reapit for what it does well and AML Simple for everything else.

How AML Simple works
Not just a checklist - a guided compliance program
There's a difference between a tool that records what you've done and one that tells you what to do next.
AML Simple's Program Generator asks the right questions about your agency - your services, your team, your clients - and generates your AML/CTF program document consistent with the structure AUSTRAC recommends. It doesn't just store a form. It produces a program your agency can defend.
The AI SMR drafting assistant works the same way. When something looks suspicious, you open an SMR in the app and it helps you structure the narrative - drawing on the facts you've already recorded. You review it. You decide whether to submit. That's the way AUSTRAC expects reporting to work.
And because AML Simple runs independently of your CRM, you're not locked in. Use Reapit for agency management. Use AML Simple for compliance. They don't compete. They sit next to each other.
Not sure where your agency stands?
The AUSTRAC Readiness Check takes around 5 minutes. It shows you exactly which obligations your agency has covered and what's still outstanding - before the 1 July 2026 deadline.
AML Simple is a compliance workflow tool - not a source of legal advice. Information on this page is provided for general guidance about AUSTRAC obligations under the AML/CTF Act 2006. It does not constitute legal, compliance, or professional advice. Your agency is responsible for understanding and meeting its own obligations.
